Eye Health
Our eye is very precious as it allows us to see and interpret the shapes, colors and dimensions of objects in the world. It has a complex structure consisting of important parts like the iris, cornea, lens, retina, conjunctiva, the macula and the optic nerve. These parts work together to convert light into information your brain can then interpret. The light travels through the pupil and the lens to the retina at the back of the eye. The retina consisted of light-sensing cells that convert light into electrical impulses to the brain via the optic nerve. Located in the center of the retina is the macula, which is a small sensitive area that gives central vision that allows you to see fine details clearly.
